The concept is simple - view, record, and retrieve video anywhere, anytime! CCTV cameras connected to a video transmission device can be viewed remotely using software and standard phone lines. The protected sites's cameras as well as video storage devices can be accessed remotely by our monitoring center.

With the addition of Two-Way audio speakers and microphones, the system becomes interactive giving our video monitoring reps the ability to communicate directly with the customer. The applications for remote video are endless and have enormous benefits!

How It Works
Hardware required for a remote video system includes:

• CCTV Camera(s)
• Video transmission box
• Optional: Video storage

The quality of the picture ultimately viewed by the end user or monitoring center is as good as the camera at the site.

Communications
Video can be accessed remotely via regular telephone lines, DSL, Cable modems, or the Internet. Communication types are based on the availability from the manufacturer as well as availability at the site.

Software
Each manufacturer has similar software that will allow end users and CMS the ability to dial a site to:

• View live video on demand
• Store video control pan tilt zoom (PTZ) cameras
• View live video upon alarm activation
• View pre & post alarm video

Remote Sight
Remote Video gives CMS the ability to see customer sites. With sight comes valuable, detailed information that helps us verify situations and determine appropriate actions.

• Hold Up: In a hold up situation, we remain silent and dispatch immediately while recording cameras. Operators relay details to authorities as they happen.
• Suspicion: A separate device can be added so customers can alert the monitoring center if they encounter a suspicious person. Using the two way audio speakers and microphones, our operators communicate with the customer to determine necessary actions. This also alerts everyone that the site is being watched and recorded.
• Burglary: In the event of a burglary alarm, we can verify the cause of the alarm using pre-alarm recorded video. This helps reduce false alarms and allows us to give the responding authorities more information, which usually results in a faster response.
• Custom Scripts: We use scripts based on the situation which can be customized to meet specific needs of the application.

Remote Watchman

Using remote video and two way audio, CMS proactively dials into a customer's site to provide guard tours. We can view, record, and relay information 24 hours a day and be in more than one place at a time.

• Audible Check Ins: We announce that we are watching and recording the site, which helps reduce internal theft. Using a check list, prepared by the customer, we offer real-time quality control and e-mail reports of our tour including snap shots. Tours can be scheduled or random and can be requested via e-mail for immediate response.
• Silent Check Ins: For covert situations, we remain silent and review the custom check list providing the same reports and schedule flexibility.
• Storage: On site and off site storage of tours provides a real picture of the tour, not skewed by personal opinion. Access is also 24/7/365
• Reports: Access to reports is easily accomplished using the internet or e-mail depending on the system installed.
• Notification: Once a tour is complete, we can notify a custom call list via telephone or e-mail and alert them to specific conditions at the site.
