Whole house audio is music thru out your home. You would usually have in ceiling speakers and a volume control on the wall in selected rooms. The type of speaker would depend on the room size or where the speaker is located.
We have a few different optioins to start with: (All options can be adjusted to your specific needs.)
Option 1:
1 pair of High Performance 6 1/2" or 8" flush, in ceiling speakers
1 100 watt, wall mounted, volume control
The amplifier required would depend on the number of rooms with speakers.
Option 2:
1 pair of High Performance 6 1/2" or 8" flush, in ceiling speakers
1 In wall keypad (where you can adjust the volume of the speakers & select a source ie, radio, cd, ipod, etc.) (Different rooms could have different sources playing at the same time.)
Optional: More advanced keypads will give feedback (Metadata) as to what song/artist is playing or will search for your request on the internet.
Option 3:
A Control4 music system where the controller will store all your media (ie, music, photos, etc.) and can be easilly acessed from an interface on your tv or from a remote control. The Control4 amplifier will allow different rooms to play a different source.
